Today I wanted to share one of the new Color Statement Lipsticks from Milani.
Their website describes them as : "Make a statement without saying a word! True Instant Color. One stroke, full coverage application. This next generation lipstick gives the ultimate in color, texture and finish. The lightweight creamy formula contains Vitamins A, C, & E to moisturize and nourish lips. Paraben-free."
It feels very smooth on, but it does settle into lip lines and dry spots (which is only really noticeable close up). It also has a very distinct smell (like some sort of candy) it's actually quite strong, and I don't usually notice the scent people say lipsticks have. So heads up!
As you can see below after the lipstick wears away (about 3 hours depending on if you eat or drink) it leaves the lips lightly stained which I like:
You could also just apply a very light layer of the lipstick and blot to get this look which is almost like a matte version.
I really like this color and want to try more, but I still have two more red lipsticks I haven't even posted about yet! :0

Oh yea they have lots of good colors, the reds are REALLY similar so you only need one!

I write all my posts on my laptop and I am replying now using my laptop and it looks right here. BUT I read a lot of blog posts on the train to and from work and that fustrates me because that means the colors I am looking at in other peoples posts aren't accurate ;/

ReplyDeleteThat's such a pretty color!! They don't sell Milani at my local Walmart but they have it at Fred Meyer, now I just need to head over to that part of town and see if they're stocking these lippies!
ReplyDeleteI used to live in Seattle and I loved Fred Meyer! It's always hard to find Milani - it's either sold out or stores don't have it!
