Inglot AMC Cream Blush #84

Hello!

Today I wanted to show the Inglot Cream Blush ($12),  I picked up last week.  They have 15 colors available on their website www.inglotcosmetics.com but at the Inglot counter they only had about 8.  They describe their cream blush as "Jojoba oil, nylon and a complex mixture of Spherical porous and non porous particles gives this light and creamy formula its velvet finish on all skin types."

I chose shade 84 which is a lovely "dusty rose" I thought it was lovely on its own and would make a great base for a lot of my powder blushes. 

I did just a finger dip and swatched down my wrist on the left (above) and then blended it out on the right.  A little goes a long way!

I used just a little bit as you can see in the middle picture to get a nice "glow" and it lasted all day which was why I opted for a cream formula in the first place.  They also have liquid blushes, and so many other great products and I want them all!

Any other great cream blushes I should know about?

If you follow me on Instagram (xjasminemariex) you know I stopped at Inglot!  They are now going to offer their lipstick and concealers in the rectangle pots so you can make a seriously custom palette.  I feel so lucky to live and work so near almost any retailer I could possibly want!  Except for Shopper's Drug Mart and Boots of course!

I'm not a big fan of twitter - it's just a bunch of self promotion and not a lot of information, and when I use it, it seems as though people rarely see my tweets.
I love Instagram - probably because it updates a lot, and there are amazing people to follow and it's easy to find new people.
I don't watch a lot of YouTube - usually only when "smaller" blog I know post - support your fellow bloggers :)
Mostly I just like to read my blog feed and see what "you" all have to say :)

Inglot fall color swatches

Hello:

When I did my big Inglot haul a few weeks back (check it out here). I got three free mini shadows (not quite as big as their circle freedom palette shadows - but actually the perfect size to me as I never hit pan on anything).  The three colors I got are new for fall and are Lovely!

Left to Right : Inglot colors 607, 605, 606

I think that not only are they wonderfull fall colors, I think they translate into any season. I know in the summer I'm going to rock a bronze-y smokey eye with the middle color 605. 

So what do you think?

Inglot Freedom palette!

Today I wanted to show off the Inglot Freedom palette and shadows I got in late September.  You can read about all the goodies I got Here.

If you aren't familiar with Inglot here's a link to their website and information about how the company began.  They are probably most well known for their amazing range of colors and affordable prices.  My 10 shadow palette was $16.00 and each shadow was $6 to $8 (rainbow shadow).

And here is my palette full of the colors I chose (to compliment or supplement shadow I already have).

My swatch shots did not come out quite as well as I hoped (they were taken in late afternoon light with no flash.)

I barely swiped the eyeshadow across my inner arm so I am really impressed with the pigmintation.

To say their color selection was hard to choose from is putting it lightly.  I could make a new palette every month! 

 

Anyone have Inglot color suggestions for me?

Inglot's AMC Cream Foundation

Today I'm going to review one of the products I got in my recent "haul" that you can read about Here.  I needed a winter foundation  - my blog is www.formosacandidus for a reason (it means pale beauty in Latin).  And now that summer is over I am only getting lighter. 

When I was at Inglot their AMC Cream foundation in LW100 matched really well and it's a nice medium coverage.  Inglot describes it as : Vitamin E, peptides and special polyesters are combined with a unique silicone and gel base to keep all skin types (especially dry) illuminated and moisturized.  Price $21.

As you can see below when swatched this foundation looks warmer, but blends into my lovely, fair flesh quite nicely :)

You can barely see where I blended it in above the foundation blob on my arm.

And here I am before work looking slightly tired but with lovely matching foundation.

I think that Inglot's AMC Cream Foundation is a good choice if you are having a hard time finding a match for you skin tone and don't want to spend a lot.  At $21 it's not that much more than a drugstore foundation and they have a large selection of shades.  I think it also provides a nice medium coverage and though the description says it's ideal for dry skin, I have combination skin and had no problems. 

Anyone tried any of Inglot's foundation?

Fall Makeup Goodies

Hello:

I went on a beauty shopping spree last weekend and got tons of great stuff that I will be reviewing over the next few weeks!

I got an Inglot Freedom Palette and 10 new shadows!  Yeah!!!  Plus they gave me three mini shadows in their new fall color line.  So excited about this!

OCC Lip Tars in NSFW and Strumpet - nuf said.

Nars Lipstick Pencil in Damned (it may just be the burgundy I was searching for!)

Lorac Pro Palette - nudes in both matte and shimmer, yes please!

Random Urban Decay Palette

Inglot AMC Foundation - because I just keep getting paler and I'm starting to run out of options.

NYX Caribbean Collection Palette - bright primary colors

Stila Palette - this thing has been out for like 2 years and was on sale for $9!
