Night time Skin Care - VIDEO!

Hello:

Today I wanted to go over my night time skin care routine and then tomorrow I'll post my day routine.  If you have any questions about the products used in this video let me know!  I will also list them below because you can't see the bottle all that well during the video.  And the background noise you hear during the video - my 2 cats fighting.  Oh and I'm not wearing lip gloss, it's my night balm - Blistex Five Star Lip Protection, I kinda like how it looks :)

Boots Botanicals Soothing Eye Makeup Remover
Lancome Huile Doucer Face Cleanser
Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Serum
Lancome Collaser 5x Serum
Lancome Genefique Eye Cream
Boots No7 Moisture Quench Day Cream (now called Beautiful Skin, I believe)

So do you use any of these products?  How do you feel about oil cleansers?  How old do I really look!  Seriously, no seriously I want to know!

Tomorrow I will reveal my day routine - exciting I know!

September Favorites

Hello:

I have been wanting to post this for 2 days but Blogger went weird on me and kept blocking me out of my blog :(  I was like I want to BLOG now!!  It's funny how relaxing I find it.
Anywhoo...

Above are the items I found myself using daily in September.

Milani Coralina Blush - I love this color it's not too pink and it actually last all day.  Also it is flattering in pictures :) I have a review of it here.

Lancome Definicils mascara - There are a lot of drug store mascara I like, but this mascara always delivers and so it is worth the $26.  No clumps, No flakes, just longer, prettier lashes.

Dolce & Gabbana The One Rose perfume - I'm not usually one for rose scented perfumes but this is such alovely warm, dare I say sexy scent - that I find myself choosing it day after day.  And I get lots of compliments so that doesn't hurt :)

ROC Deep Wrinkle Night Cream - I got a deep wrinkle for my 30th birthday and my dermatalogist said only Botox would fix it.  4 years later I have tried a multitude of things, but this works wonderfully, my wrinkle isn't gone but it is much less noticeable and my crows feet are all smoothed out.

I always love other people favorites, so let me know what you have been loving!

My Go To Mascara - Lancome Oscillation Intensity

Hello:

I have tried many Mascaras in my time and I have one true love.
Lancome's Oscillation Intensity Mascara is a vibrating mascara (which I always thought was hokey - but this WORKS like none other!)  The formula is just right for me.  It makes my lashes look WAY fuller and longer.

So as you can see my lashes on the right are thin and short, but on the right Defined and LOOOONG!  I wear contacts and mascara is one thing I'm actually pretty sensitive to, so flaking mascara drives me bananas, I have no problems with flaking or smearing during the day and it comes off easily at night, which again is important because if I have any mascara residue I wake up with crazy itchy eyes.  At $35 dollars a tube it's not cheap, but because it WORKS so well for me, I'll pay the price :)

What's your favorite mascara?

Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation...is Fantastic!

Hello!

Today I tried out Lancome's new Foundation Teint Idole 24H (the old formula was the Teint Idole Ultra).  I am not even going to really compare the two as the formulas are quite different, but both are a moder/full coverage.  The new Teint Idole 24H is described by Lancome as: "The full coverage you need – flaws, pores, redness and all imperfections visibly disappear. The velvety finish you love for 24-hour lasting perfection and comfort. Full coverage. Velvety matte finish with no powdery effect.  Oil-free. Fragrance-free. Transfer-free. Non-comedogenic. Tested on sensitive skin. Tested under dermatological control."

I'm shade 100 by the way
Although it looks yellow on my skin this is the closest foundation match I have ever found
It went on really smooth and it lives up to it claims of a lightweight, flawless finish all day.  Not a hint of oiliness seeped through and I didn't use a primer.  It comes in 28 shades and you can usually get a 10 day sample to try if you ask at the counter.

with Teint Idole 24H

If you are looking for a long lasting foundation in a wide variety of colors this may be the one for you!

Next up...Estee Lauder Illuminating Primer,

More than Natural

Wow! Two posts in one day!  The hardest part of blogging for me is not content but getting images for the posts.  I try to take the pictures in the same quality sunlight each morning, so these foundation posts are one image a day - because I want to see how it performs.

In this photo I am wearing Renergie Lift Makeup from Lancome in Lifting Clair 20.
The company describes the foundation as:
"An innovation in age-defying foundation; this lightweight, moisturizing fluid visibly “lifts” slackening skin, and blurs lines and wrinkles for up to 12-hours. The magic behind this makeup is LancĂ´me’s Micro-Lift™ technology with Pure Vitamin E that optimizes luminosity and leaves skin looking younger than ever. Instantly, your complexion appears flawlessly even and line-free."
If you look at this versus past posts you can definetly tell this is a full coverage foundation (my freckles are hidden in bright light) and I will say I think it does give a good 10 hours of wear, but I don't really look "luminous", and I have lines on my face!  I am definetly not line free.  This foundation is aimed at women over 40 and I will say it is my favorite for achieving a smoothing, fresh look for an older client that does not have very dry skin.

 Next up...Teint Idole,

Jasmine
