March Perfume Rotation

Hello:

Today I am going to see how well I did on my February Perfume rotation  (where I am trying to use my perfumes up more evenly by focusing on 4 per month).  I got the idea originally from Nat @ gl0ssy (thanks again Nat!).

So here are the perfumes I picked to use in February (along with the coordinating lotion if I had it):

 

And here are the perfumes now!

 

 

It looks like I barely used them - but I did, I did!

 

So because I didn't really make a dent, I am going to use three of the same perfumes this month with one "new" one thrown in (Faconnable por Elle).

 

 

So here's to March's fragrances and hoping I make more of a difference!

Le Perfume Collection

Hello!

Today I wanted to share my perfume collection and find out what fragrances you love!  I love, love, love perfume.  My friend and have always joked (but we are actually serious) that we want to be the woman who always leaves her scent in a room.  I find it a huge compliment if someone asks "what are you wearing?"  My favorite Perfume of all time is:

Boucheron is a Floral Semi-Oriental
Top Notes: Sicilian tangerine, Calabrian bitter orange, apricot, Persian galbanum, African tegetes, Spanish basilica
Heart Notes: Morrocan orange blossom, Grasse tuberose, Madagascar ylang-ylang, Moroccan jasmine, Auvergne narcissus, British broom
Base Notes: Mysore sandalwood, amber, Indian Ocean vanilla, South American tonka bean

I Seem to gravitate towards perfume with Jasmine as the Heart or "middle" notes, and most of my favorites are "florentals" (Floral Orientals)  I linked a description of the perfumes next to the names in the pictures below!

Four for February - perfume!

Hello!

Today I wanted to share the 4 perfumes I chose to wear for the month.  Nat from Gl0ssy did this last month so I got the idea from her, and I think it's a great way to use your perfume instead of just letting it sit, which I do to often. 

So here are the chosen four!

White Musk (by the Body Shop) - "A soft and velvety signature scent for every woman, every moment. Forever sensual."  I'm also going to use the lotion because I like to layer :)

Lovely (by Sarah Jessica Parker) - "An alluring and flowery fragrance from renowned actress Sarah Jessica Parker, Lovely for women is a deeply evocative scent that carefully balances a subtle tone with fruity and musky elements". 

Breathless (Victoria's Secret) - "The fragrance features sandalwood, pomegranate blossom, mandarin orange and neroli."  I also am going to layer this one with the lotion.

Ellen Tracy (by Ellen Tracy) -  "Ellen Tracy is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women. Top notes are plum, green notes, galbanum, osmanthus, peach, hiacynth, bergamot, lemon and cinnamon; middle notes are aldehydes, tuberose, orchid, orris root, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily-of-the-valley, rose, freesia and carnation; base notes are sandalwood, amber, musk, oakmoss, raspberry, cedar and tonka bean."  There's a whole lot of things in this one!

So since there are 28 days in February that gives each one 7 days of wear, I hope to make at least a little dent in each of these!

September Favorites

Hello:

I have been wanting to post this for 2 days but Blogger went weird on me and kept blocking me out of my blog :(  I was like I want to BLOG now!!  It's funny how relaxing I find it. 
Anywhoo...

 

 

Above are the items I found myself using daily in September. 

 

 

Milani Coralina Blush - I love this color it's not too pink and it actually last all day.  Also it is flattering in pictures :) I have a review of it here.

 

Lancome Definicils mascara - There are a lot of drug store mascara I like, but this mascara always delivers and so it is worth the $26.  No clumps, No flakes, just longer, prettier lashes.

 

Dolce & Gabbana The One Rose perfume - I'm not usually one for rose scented perfumes but this is such alovely warm, dare I say sexy scent - that I find myself choosing it day after day.  And I get lots of compliments so that doesn't hurt :)

 

ROC Deep Wrinkle Night Cream - I got a deep wrinkle for my 30th birthday and my dermatalogist said only Botox would fix it.  4 years later I have tried a multitude of things, but this works wonderfully, my wrinkle isn't gone but it is much less noticeable and my crows feet are all smoothed out.
