Milani Eye Primer Review

Hello,

I have heard nothing but good things around the internet Milani Eyeshadow Primer, so when I spotted it at CVS I snatched it up ($6.49), and decided to give it a 12 hour run.

It's a "nude" flesh tone type color and it can be a bit oily if you don't shake it up a bit.

You only need about the size of a pea for both eyes.

Ignore my crazy eyebrows - I hadn't "done" them yet :)

It definitely smoothed out my veiny eyelids (I have it on the left) - I didn't really get to check how much it intensifies colors as I wore neutrals.

From the left: 8am, 2pm, 8pm
Unfortunately because the time of day the color temp of the pictures is a little off - but I will say from 8 am to 2 pm not much changed!  I took a nap around 4 for 2 hours - and so by 8pm it was rubbed a bit but it still kept my eye shadow and eyeliner in place MUCH better than usual.  And again at a price of $6.49, it's a total score!

Have you tried Milani's eye primer?  Do you NEED I primer? (I do!)

  1. I'm going to have a look for this! UD Primer Potion doesn't work for me anymore.

    1. UD never really worked for me either - everyone I know who likes it has OILY eyelids. Mine are pretty normal - let me know if you can't find it, I'll send you one!

  3. I'm in the market for a new primer, actually. I'm interested in this one now. Seems to have done a good enough job. Thanks for the review! :)

    1. It's really good for the price, reminds me of Too Face Shadow Insurance.

  4. I'm going to give this one a try... hopefully it doesn't dry out my eyelids like UDPP :(

    1. I swear UDPP was made for oily, oily eyelids - and this is not like that!

  5. I haven't really looked into other eye primers. I have 4 of the UDPP and I think it's enough to last me for the rest of my life or until they go bad, lol. Otherwise, it would be nice to try other primers.
