Hello:
Today I tried Maybelline's Dream Nude Airfoam Foundation which their website describes as "a Lightweight foam foundation, Releases refined pigments pre-dispersed in air for effortless application and 100% nude perfection, SPF 16, Ideal for normal skin, Doesn’t clog pores, Dermatologist, allergy tested."
As you can see it's like skin colored mousse and it's really hard to tell how much you are going to need (a walnut size seems to be about right for me). I couldn't really effectively apply it with a brush so I used my fingers and it feels like putting bubbles that quickly turn to a smooth light liquid onto your face. This is a very, very natural looking foundation, but it leaves behind a nice matte finish and does not turn chalky, or really change at all during the day. Once you get used to applying it, I think this is a good alternative to powder as it doesn't provide much coverage but seems to help you keep a matte finish throughout the day.
Next up....Revlon,
Jasmine
Hello, Did you think that this product was good coverage?
ReplyDeleteI have been hoping to try this out, it looks interesting, but at the same time I want a foundation that has good coverage.
Nooooo...it's a very light coverage. It's about as natural as you can get. I would say my top 3 full coverage foundations would be... Lancome Teint Idole, Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish and Revlon Phot Finish. Thanks for reading my blog!!
