After I realized in my 2012 favorites post that I hadn't shown some of my favorite red lipsticks, I knew I need to fix that quick, so here's one of my favorites!
NYX Matte Lipstick in "Bloody Mary"
It's a very pretty true red with a blue undertone. Although it is a matte lipstick it's not drying, I find it very comfortable to wear. It really brightens up my whole face.
The above is just one quick swipe on the top and bottom lips - very pigmented!

ReplyDeleteNo. My eyeballs are mine, and I'm actually pretty vain about them. People have said I have blue eyes before and I get mad. I am like they are GREEN, very very green. Hence the GREEN EYED MONSTER!

ReplyDeleteYou NEED one, seriously. It makes you feel like a million bucks and you look like a rockstar - because it does take a little bit of guts to rock it :) Just get thee to your local beauty counter, have them find one you like and wear it all day, and yyou will be hooked!

DeleteMy favorite red is NYX chaos but that sucker bleeds all over the place because it's super creamy. How's the wear time? Does it transfer a lot? PS sorry I just went back and stalked your blog, but it's really nice and you take great photos which is really helpful.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I have been trying really hard to take good pictures! Wear time - 3 hrs if you don't eat. It doesn't bleed that much because its matte and therefore "drier" and I have light lips so it stains a bit.
