Ooh la la Lips - Pixi Rosy Red

Hello:

It's time again for ooh la la lips!  This week I used Pixi's Tinted Brilliance Balm (it's like Revlon lip butters, just in crayon form) It does not really leave a stain, and lasts about 2 hours.  But ease of use for me usurps longevity, I can put it on without a mirror, and I like the glossy-ness.

You can get Pixi at Target for $16 and it comes in 7 different colors.

The only flaw I see, is that because it's a sheer balm that does deliver a punch of color the "color" tends to stick where ever your lips are dry as you can see above.

With oh la la lips!  What a difference a bit of color makes!  I would really suggest this a stepping stone to full on red lips!  There's a red for everyone!

    1. I am still not convinced Jasmine! I think it might make me look too old, I like to stay as far away from the big pending 3-0 as possible! PS not saying you look older at all, just certain shades make me seem... how do you say.. more mature! :O

    1. Their stuff is a bit pricey, but worth it for certain things. And most stores have testers so you can check itout to see if it's right for you!

  4. The color looks great on you. I'm a bit put off by the price considering there are other similar product on the market that are cheaper, aka Revlon balm stain. Would you know how they compare?

    1. It is creamier than the Revlon Kissable stain crayon thing, and it doesn't stain as much. This is more of a REALLY pigmented balm. You'll love one or the other. I agree it's a bit $$, but I got a Target gift card for X-mas so... Plus the Taget's here have testers of PIXI so you can try out colors (on my hand! Dear god not on my lips!)
