Review - Boots Botanics Soothing Eye Make Up Remover

Hello!

Today I wanted to share a new (to me) product I have been using that I really like.  It's Boots Botanic's line Eye Makeup Remover (you can find their products at Target) :

It's a dual phased eye makeup remover so you can see from the picture below you need to shake it up to mix the two liquids.  I didn't find it to be overly oily.

Here's my eye makeup at the end of the day (too faced shadow insurance, cream eyeliner and 4 different eye shadows plus mascara) a little bit worn from an 8 hour day (don't judge):

With one wipe of the eye makeup remover I was down to this (and I literally mean ONE fast wipe):

Just a little bit of shadow that I totally missed with the pad (so no fault of the remover) and my mascara which I always need to hold the remover on to make sure I get it all off (my eyes are actually really sensitive so I need to be sure there's no residue at night or I wake up with itchy, puffy eyes).

On the bottle it also said you can use this as a "quick pick me up" be keeping some in the fridge and then putting it on pads and laying them over your eyes for 5 minutes - I definitely must try!

I definitely never thought I'd find a replacement for my Lancome Bi-Facil  ($28 for 4.2 oz) but this is just as good if not better at 1/4 of the price ($6.49 for 5 oz).

What's your favorite eye make-up remover?

Jasmine

*I received this product for free from Boots USA, but all thoughts and opinions are my own*

  1. I've heard so many good things about this eye makeup remover but they stopped selling Boots products here :( Definately going to pick it up next time I go to the U.S. though so thanks for the review.

    1. It was a delightful surprise! I'm surprised they stopped selling Botts there as it seems to be getting bigger here.

  2. My fave makeup remover for eyes and face is purity by philosphy. I have never tried this brand or anything by boots for that matter. It looks like some good stuff though.

    1. I know a lot of people like the purity line by philosophy - I found it too harsh (which sounds crazy)!

  3. Wow if this is as good as bi-facil, I must try it. Right now my current favorite is Sephora waterproof remover.

  4. I just use regular wipes with Clinque toner right now, the bottle is HUGE so I am sure it will last me at least 4-5 months!
I cannot wait until Target finally opens up in Canada and I don't have to wait until I go to the US for my makeup addiction fulfilments

    1. Those Clinique bottles are family sized I swear! All the Canadian targets are opening this year right? It's an evil place, you go in to spend $25 and come out with like $75 every time. I am always lusting over the UK products I can't get - I just one Barry M polish! Wellllll maybe not just one... And Sleek, and MUA and....
