Cara Box Reveal

Hello,

Once again I joined the Cara Box exchange over at Wifessionals.com  This time you got a partner for 3 months - which was nice so you could get to know them a bit better.  Click on the Cara Box image if you want to know more.  Signups for the next three months are coming soon!

You send to someone different than who sends to you - I sent to Victoria @ Lost in Boston (you can click on the link if you want to see what I sent her).  And the lovely Kate from Another Clean Slate sent to me.  She picked out some WONDERFUL  surprises.

A Book, Cosmetics & jewels what more can you want!

Love the arrow bracelet!  I put it on as soon as I got it and wore it all day - super cute!

I also got this awesome Julep polish duo - not only did it come with a gorgeous cobalt color - but a super top coat too!  yay! 

And the wallet from Colab - now this is one of those things that I did not know I WANTED until I got it.  It is awesome - it even fits my Ipod!  All my cards, my change, my money and even a pocket for my bobby pins - I am so in love! 

Thank you so much again Kate!  It was such a thoughtful, fun package!

Cara Box Reveal

Hello,

This month I did the Cara box Swap hosted by Kaitlyn @ Wifessionals.com.  What is a Cara Box?  A Cara is a "beloved friend" and basically you are assigned a blogger "pen pal" get to know them really well and then create a box of goodies for them around the theme.

You send to someone different than who you receive from.  I sent to the lovely Lisa @ Ameliorer la Vie, super smart gal, world traveler and writes about beauty a bit too!

My package came from Kate @ Another Clean Slate - again another well traveled, positive lovely lady!  So it was not only great to do the package sending thing but to "meet" these gals as well!

Here's what the lovely Kate sent me, our theme this month was pretty much anything goes!



A wonderful new book to read - Excellent!  A really sweet note on some super cool stationary!  And a Burt's Bees Tips and Toes Kit filled with so many great goodies for keeping my hands and feet healthy - yay!

A Stylin Bracelet, 2 Fun polishes and a handy dandy purse mirror!

I can't wait to use the Polka Dots!!  And lord knows I love me some hot pink!

May Cara Box Swap - New York

Hello!

This month I joined in the Cara Box swap hosted by Kaitlyn at wifessionals.com

This month's box theme was - "So this month you will get to know your partner. Figure out things they love or are passionate about.  Then make them a box filled with thoughtful items - but they must be themed towards the region YOU live in. This will give you the opportunity to send things to your partner that shows them a little bit about where you come from. So if they like chocolate, maybe send them a locally found chocolate bar! Please be mindful to still include things themed around what they like, just figure out a way to tie in your region."

So my partner Kaitlin is from Brooklyn, NY and she sent me all sorts of goodies from "The Empire State".

The Lavender sachet is from the green market in Union Square, she walks by everyday - how wonderful to walk by Union Square!  It smells wonderful and I put it on my nightstand so I can enjoy the relaxing scent before sleep.

I also got some Julie G. polishes!  I believe they are only available at Rite-aid.  They are both lovely colors and nothing like I have.

She also sent me some delicious treats from the Nutbox which has 3 locations in NY.  They have all sorts of nuts, and dried fruit, candies and seeds!  I just tried the Choco N Nuts Mix and its great :)

Cara Box Swap Reveal

Hello!

Recently I did a cara box swap.  What is a Cara box? It is a box you send to a friend to get to know them better and provide encouragement. So...Awesome things in the mail + Meeting new women + Encouragement = Cara Box   You can check it all out at www.wifessionals.com.  This month's theme was Club Sexy!  You had to figure out what would make a great "date" night for your partner.  Here is what the lovely Jaz at SweetLionLife sent me!

I had mentioned that my boyfriend and planned to do Valentine's at home and that I am a makeup junkie. 

She sent me this wonderful smelling candle and some croissants to bake - since I told her I loved both things :)

And then she managed the impossible - a RED lipstick and nail polish I don't have!  So I could look super sexy!

I also got a lavender mask some UD Primer Potion (yea!) and two pink loofahs, plus a mini-mani kit!  How nice is that?!?

She also sent my 2 kitties some toys, and I tried to get some action shots but catnip makes them cracked out so they were zooming around the house smacking their new mice.

She also wrote me a super thoughtful note - It was such a very lovely and thoughtful package!  Thank you so much other Jazmine!
